We contracted APMS Builders Limited, run by Neal Harwood-Scorer, to build an extension starting in July 2024. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely difficult and remains unresolved. Progress was slow from the start. At one stage the existing roof was removed and the team then went on leave, leaving the property exposed for months. This caused internal damage that we later had to address with a separate contractor so our family could move back in safely. Attendance on site was inconsistent and there were repeated delays along with requests for additional payments before previous stages appeared completed. A new roof was installed in December 2024, however it began leaking shortly afterwards and continues to do so. Despite many messages, photos and videos showing water ingress and internal damage, several arranged visits to investigate or repair the issue did not take place, and attempts made have not resolved the problem.
